Our Facilities

Deerwood Drive Residence

As of 3/1/2026, there are 2 vacancies for adult males 18 & over at our IDD/MH Co-ed adult home in Gaston County Gastonia, NC. This home is licensed by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation. 

• Individuals in our group homes have various intellectual and developmental disabilities including Down syndrome, Autism, Mild IDD, and similar conditions.  
• Each of our residents receive regular instruction in independent living skills, such as personal care, shopping, cooking, housekeeping, budgeting, and accessing community services.  
• Residents who live in our group homes regularly participate in activities away from home, which include working, attending school or vocational training, volunteering, and participating in recreational activities. 

Our Staff

Our Group Homes are supported by compassionate, highly trained staff dedicated to creating safe, respectful, and nurturing living environments. All team members are First Aid and CPR certified and receive specialized training to promote resident safety, dignity, and independence. We are committed to honoring each resident’s rights while providing the support needed to feel secure and at home.

Our staff offer specialized therapeutic services, meaningful recreational and leisure activities, and individualized training and support in social skills, personal health, and hygiene to promote independence and quality of life.
